Founded in 1979 following the merger of three well-established Luxembourg companies, Compagnie de Construction (CDC), which became CDCL in 2012, has developed over the years in all construction-related activities.

From public works to civil engineering and engineering structures, from office buildings to single-family homes, from industrial infrastructures to property development and the construction of hybrid buildings, it has specialised and surrounded itself with the best partners in order to offer its customers a complete range of solutions.

Thanks to its expertise and capacity for innovation, it is today a market leader and a key player in the sustainable construction and eco-design segment.

Commitment to sustainability

Aware of environmental issues and the need to move towards a more sustainable way of building, the CDCL Group entered into a partnership with Austrian construction company CREEbuilding in 2018. Its high-performance hybrid wood-concrete structure was a perfect fit with the desired objective: to be able to offer customers a solution capable of meeting current expectations but also of evolving and adapting in line with future recommendations and regulations.

Thanks to a prefabrication and on-site assembly model, it helps to substantially reduce the carbon footprint by replacing some of the concrete with wood, and increases the building’s energy efficiency. What’s more, this 100% demountable and reusable system meets the requirements of the circular economy.
With CDCL, the future of construction is already being built today.
