CDCL, the Luxembourg construction company, has been active in the world of construction in Luxembourg since 1979.
The construction company was founded through the merger of three well-established construction companies in Luxembourg. Within these companies, we can find:
- Camille DIEDERICH-COLAS, founded in 1951. Mr Camille Diederich, a co-founder and iconic patriarchal figure in the company, is still an active CDCL member, preserving the values of integrity and respect that it has always advocated since its origins.
- Pierre BOHLER, founded in 1907.
- ARDEC, formerly Raymond Didier, founded in 1948.
In 2009, CDC changed its status into a public limited company and became CDC SA. This new era marked the setting up of the first Board of Directors.
The Luxembourg construction company continues to develop and expand its activities.
In January 2012, thanks to the trust shown by its clients and partners, CDC gained new momentum and clearly affirmed its Luxembourg values by becoming the CDCL: Compagnie De Construction Luxembourgeoise.
The new corporate name called for a new logo: the historical pyramid of CDC came to life through a visual vibration motif, reflecting the evolution of the business.
The group's cohesion took shape and subsidiaries acquired a family air.
In September 2012, CDCL decided to strengthen its position in the real estate development sector, an activity it had begun in 2007, by creating the subsidiary CDCL Promotions Sàrl.
Today, the CDCL Group has 500 employees.
